Sur les talons du coupé Motorsport Z4 M arrive une autre BMW conçu pour les pistes, le Motorsport 120d. Utilisant un moteur turbo-diesel à quatre cylindres fortement développé de 2.0 litres produisant 180 kilowatts à 4.200 t/mn et des 450 mk de couple à 3.000 t/mn, le BMW Motorsport 120d est conçu pour que ses clients courrent en Europe. Il concourra dans le groupe N de la FIA.

Hot on the heels of the BMW Motorsport Z4 M Coupé racer comes another BMW designed for the tracks, the Motorsport 120d. Using a highly developed 2.0-litre four cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 180 kW at 4,200 rpm and a massive 450 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm, the BMW Motorsport 120d is designed for customers to race in Europe. It will compete in FIA sanctioned Group N racing.
