R.I.P. Sergio, we will miss you.

Cars enthousiast are mourning Sergio Pininfarina, born in september 1926 in Turin, as he died monday night, at the age 85.

Pininfarina's firm, founded in 1930 by his father, Battista "Pinin" Farina, who later changed the family name to Pininfarina, and based in Turin (Italy, Europe), was responsible for the Ferrari 250 and 500, the Dino, the Daytona, and a lot of other successful other brands cars (Alfa Romeo, Cadillac, Fiat, Lancia, Peugeot, Rolls-Royce, Volvo and more).

Sergio Pininfarina was named an Italian senator for life.

Alpine Electronics Europe demo car Fiat 500 CUP

Compact dimensions, trendy design, and plenty of power. No, we’re not talking about the Fiat 500 this time, but about the innovative technology inside the new Alpine demo car. But what’s so special about this MS Design-refined model (which, by the way, is number 5 of a limited edition of 100)? Manfred Stengl and his team completely revamped the interior and installed all multimedia components visibly and in the order of the signal path, thus presenting the structure of the system in a comprehensible manner.
